Silchester Explorer Scouts Group

Pamber Heath Scout Group is one of six Scout Groups operating in the Silchester Scout District. We provide adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for young people aged 6-14 in Pamber Heath, North Hampshire.

In addition, we also have links with the District Explorer Scout Unit that provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for 14– 18 year-olds coming from across the six Scout Group areas.

Personal development in Scouting means the promotion of physical, intellectual, social and spiritual well-being of the individual, and helping them achieve their full potential. In Scouting, we believe that young people develop most when they are 'learning by doing,' when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves.
